We're launching Το Μαγικό Ράφι the warmest way we know — in person, with 15–30 Greek and multilingual families gathering in Utrecht for our very first children's book swap. Storytime for the kids, coffee for the grown-ups, and a table full of stories waiting for new homes.

What happens that morning

A simple, joyful rhythm.

    Drop off your books

    Hand in up to 3 children's books per child at the welcome table. You'll get tokens to swap with.

  2. 02

    Storytime & coloring

    Greek storytime corner for the little ones, plus a coloring station while parents browse and chat.

  3. 03

    Browse, swap, sip

    Tables grouped by age. Trade tokens for new favourites and meet other families over coffee.

What to bring

  • Up to 3 children's books per child
  • Greek titles preferred — English & other languages welcome
  • Clean, complete and age-appropriate
  • Picture books, early readers or chapter books

Please don't bring

  • · Torn or damaged books
  • · Books with heavy writing or drawings
  • · Adult books
  • · Books missing pages or covers

Books that don't quite fit the swap still find a home — we pass extras on to schools, daycares and community libraries.
